I swear that Brother owns a bunch of stock in Energizer and Duracell to where they make their engineers design it to power drain but then they add that suspecially AAA sized void to store a battery in to help people out π

I don't really use mine much but I think I'm getting close to the end of the TZe sample cartridge it came with. This deal reminded me to add that to my list.

Ps. Why would anyone leave battery in a device they don't use on a daily basis, that just screams battery leakage.

P.S. If someone wanted a device that needed to be manually powered every time they needed to use it...why would they even bother with a battery powered unit?
