If you look at the picture, the wheels are held on by a bolt and nut. They are not flush with the wheel and protrude about 0.5 cm from either side. They'll scuff the legs / sides of your desk, furniture, walls, etc. if you're not careful.
The corners of the metal "housing / bracket" where the wheels sit are also kinda sharp. They protrude far enough that it'll consistently strike the back of your heel when rolling forward.
On the matter of safety, it also incredibly easy to get the back your foot stuck between the gap of the housing and wheel when rolling backwards if you're not careful.
If I had to do it again, I'd go with a wheel that has a curved housing.
