Anybody have a good suggestion to get replacement lids only? It's annoying that the cost of the lids alone are often more expensive than these sets

I think they, and Pyrex, intentionally make crap lids so that you'll have to replace them. Absolutely stupid that a plastic lid would cost more than a high quality(?) glass bowl, but it seems nobody is willing to make decent replacement lids for a decent price.

I have this. The lids are tougher than the usual brittle hard plastic lids found in sets like this.

I haven't had it long enough to see how it holds up. If you want to see an extraordinary tough lid, look at the Anchor Hocking's red lid for their 8 cup / 2 quart mixing batter bowl / measuring cup.

Hand wash the lids and never put the lids in the microwave. I have about 15 of these for years. No problem. I make a lot of hearty soups and stews in the fall and winter. These are perfect for freezing in a meal size portion.
