I still have this device after about a year and change - great phone and still getting updates, but you might want more than 128gb because something like 10-12gb is going to go towards "AI core" and a bunch of other unremovable apps
Not such a great deal at 128GB. You can get the current generation of this with 256GB at US Mobile without a plan for only $50 more, though you my have to use it there for 2 months to get it unlocked Also, in another month or two, the next gen Pixel 11 will be out. If you need a phone with a nice camera right away and don't need the memory, this might be a reasonable choice, otherwise you're better off with buying elsewhere or waiting.

Of all the smartphones that I've used since 2007, this is one of them...does everything well. No overheating BS. No battery glitches. The first of the pixels since the 2 XL that just works.
My main issue is that it's reception is a bit weaker than my s24u. The former can't catch 5g c-band (on VZ) when the latter can. The bandwidth isn't a huge difference in those fringes, but it's something.
I have been using 256 gb version since launched, I would recommend to wait for 11 pro series (next month will launch). Min t mobil, googl f i etc does great deals with pixel phones.
I have this exact phone. It's good, but the software glitches are killing the Pixel line. Last month all of my widgets went away (was just fixed this morning) and I've been having a GPS bug for 6 months now where it's basically unusable, 90% of the time it says "searching for GPS". There's also been a huge battery drain issue since the March release with no fix yet.
Frustratingly, my wife's iPhone just works. I can't stand iPhones, so I'll probably be switching to Samsung for my next phone. I like the Pixels just wish Google would do some QA on their software - I'm tired of being their unpaid beta tester.
Google must think their phones are made out of gold and appreciate with age. Motorola will give them a run for their money once the GrapheneOS is integrated into their phones.

Hmm I guess it's YMMV, because I've had zero of these issues ever and have had pixels for 6 years or so. My last iphone's battery was a total POS so I abandoned them.
Guess I got lucky or it doesn't affect the 8, my battery is rarely even below 40% when I plug it in at the end of day. If my GPS didn't work for 6 months like yours I would be getting a new phone though
