Probably the worst phone I've ever owned. I would stay away from this phone, major performance and overheating issues.

Community Reviews

The Galaxy S22+ is a compact flagship that still has useful performance, a good screen, DeX, and USB C video out, which makes it handy for travel media, light desktop use, or even retro gaming. Battery life is the biggest strength and weakness split in the comments, ranging from a solid day or more to very short runtimes, with fast charging helping some setups. Heat, freezing, antenna problems, and screen burn in or green screen concerns also come up, and the refurbished listing appears to offer no warranty. It looks best for buyers who want the hardware features and can live with the risk on condition and longevity.

  • The S22+ can work well as a travel multimedia device using DeX and USB-C video out.

    SwiftGeneration

  • The S22+ can serve as a convenient mini PC for light tasks or media streaming via a USB-C HDMI dongle setup.

    Hizzy812

  • The S22+ can keep receiving updates and can be used as a spare music or video player without dying.

    timbo10184

  • The S22+ can be used on AT&T since release without issues when usage is not heavy.

    L00k1ng_4_D3als

  • The refurbished S22+ can develop major performance slowdowns and overheating during normal use.

    jjj444yestrckn4life

  • The refurbished condition can be unreliable because listings may include screen burn-in as an included condition.

    HadokenSDWreckerALeX

  • The refurbished S22+ can have battery life that fails to last a full day and may require frequent charging.

    coolmannOptimusdiesel

  • The refurbished listing can lack warranty coverage, which increases risk for screen or hardware problems.

Great to tape to the back of a 24" monitor with a usb-c dongle, hdmi and have a convenient mini PC for light tasks or just media streaming.

how can we know if Refurbished quality is good here ? is it lottery ticket ?
Yes, the word refurbished now a days is used for old and used phone. Expect phone with poor battery life and may run hot.

In what universe is this worth $1k 🙄 Snapdragon 8 gen 1 apparently, really barely worth the asking price.
In some parallel universe it is $1000 or maybe in old Zimbabwe Dollar.

Any opinion on the condition of the phone? The reviews on ebay for the item are generally good, but have some bad reviews.
Battery life is garbage on these. I have one sitting on a shelf as a backup to the s20+ my kids are using. It was mine, but I replaced it pretty quickly because I was tied to a plug or charger. It wouldn't go 4 hours without dying. I bought it used probably 2-3 years ago.

Woah, this is a steal. Yes, the battery life is notoriously short and yes it gets quite hot under extended periods of intense gaming (CODM) but this is a lot of bang for the buck. I just upgraded to the S26 from an S22 (not+) and there was still a ton of perforce in that S22. I had been thinking of making a "Dextop" PC with a galaxy phone running in dedicated Dex mode and this price is good.

I might have paid 299 for mine new at Walmart several years ago. Not the phone the note 9 was but haven't experienced overheating. Battery won't make it all day with usage. Some glitches with pages almost hiding some text but been decent for me.

loving all the critical comments on a 165 dollar price tag as if we are comparing this to the 700-1200 dollar phones that are out today
Except the critical comments are mostly about battery life which even $150 phones can do well.
