In what universe is this worth $1k 🙄 Snapdragon 8 gen 1 apparently, really barely worth the asking price.

Security updates stop in early 2027 if I recall. I have a s22 ultra and it's been good, just wish it would get updates longer.

Even with reputable sellers on Ebay, it's a very subjected matter. I have returned a phone in "Excellent" condition dues to dead pixels and kept one "Very Good" because it was almost perfect, except for some blemishes on side and back which got covered by the phone case.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was manufactured by Samsung, and Qualcomm has not commissioned Samsung to produce chips since then.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is a chip to avoid.

Nah, it's a good chip and the battery life issue is overstated. I used the S22+ for 2 years and it was always a 1 day+ phone for me.

Yes, I can confirm. I switched to a S24 after all the frustration with my S22 not even making it to the end of the day, and it's like night and day.

Be careful with these devices. My refurb S22+ developed a a white line across the screen just outside of warranty period.
