Community Reviews
Skechers Summits AT slip ins are positioned as an easy, comfortable everyday walking shoe with a roomy regular and wide fit. The hands free slip on design, soft feel, and good looks stand out, and they seem especially appealing for long shifts or lots of steps on pavement. The tread is softer than a hiking shoe and can feel too aggressive for casual wear, while durability and long term sole hold up remain uncertain. A solid comfort focused option if you want convenience more than trail use.
These slip-on sneakers feel very soft and comfortable for all-day walking and working.
The tread uses harder rubber on darker sections and softer EVA foam on lighter sections.
A post-rain 4.5-mile gravel and dirt walk reportedly picked up no more dirt than other walking shoes.
The slip-on design reportedly makes them easy to put on and wear quickly.
The treads are reportedly too soft and the fit too loose for serious hiking.
The aggressive tread pattern reportedly looks better suited to hiking or trail use than everyday casual wear.
Cleaning dirt between the treads reportedly may be unpleasant and could require shoe covers.
Sole durability reportedly can decline over time, with newer pairs feeling more foam-like and less stable in hot climates.

I walk off-pavement daily for short times, feeding ferals, so mainly, I would not enjoy getting the dirt out from between the treads, regardless of comfort. I'd have to use some shoe covers for these.
