Fi a joke. Never anything slick deal about them. Ever
Why? Isn't Fi just rebadged T-Mobile / US Cellular with perhaps better customer service from Google?

I get a new phone about every other year and never pay more than about 200 bucks after trade in. No other network has those kind of prices and the reason I left T-Mobile is because they would not give me any phone deals on my existing grandfather plan

Fi is worth it if you have multiple other devices that you want data on. Each line can have one LTE smartwatch and 4 data-only SIMs/eSIMs for no additional cost.

Most of the more slick deals I've seen are for the extra devices on Fi. The phone deals are only really good if you're adding a new line and getting a Pixel.

Currently paying $50/mo for 4 "Unlimited Standard" lines on Fi (plus taxes). I think the "bill credits" deal that made this possible was pretty slick (simply ported in, no devices purchased or traded).

That's exactly where I'm at. They (T-mo) are forcing me off my 2015 grandfathered plan, and even on the device upgrade plans the phones I have are pretty worthless by their trade-in criteria like excluding OnePlus phones above v10 (we have a later R model) or giving half trade for a Pixel 9a while a Pixel 6 would fetch full trade. I'm looking forward to trying out Fi for a couple of years and avoiding all that nonsense as well as getting a higher flagship tier to be eligible for future trade in deals.

My plan was nearly 20 years old. No one had ever heard of it but it had unlimited data from the GPRS era for $40.

Mint at $15/month (6gb data) is hard to leave. Even though they don't have good deals on new phones for existing customers

This guy probably doesn't leave the country... Or he would appreciate the high data speeds Ive enjoyed... With that said, very happy US mobile customer with dark star plan (plenty of international data included)
