Anyone who knows about sprayers in general could weigh in? I've used rollers and am only half decent and am looking to paint 3 bedrooms. Would this particular one be good for those uses? Tired of buying expensive name brand only to use sparingly, when I keep hearing from trusted friends that the cheaper versions (including t*mu) are worth the 90% saving even if I have to replace one a few years down

I have 4 different Tilswall models: cheap $20 gun sprayer with power cord, cordless gun sprayer that uses a DeWalt 20V battery, the Shark 800 and the other model similar to the Shark 800 that is 1 step down which doesn't have the side refill port and only comes with 3 nozzles vs 4. They all work a lot better than you'd expect for their prices. The Shark 800 is the only one I use now since it produces the most air pressure and most even spray, and I bought 3 of them when they were on sale for $40/ea because I called the company and they don't sell replacement nozzles or any spare parts at all so I wanted to have backup parts or whole units when 1 finally fails. 3 @ $40/ea was only $120 total and these will probably last me over 10 years of occasional use, vs my Wagner which was around $400 and has barely higher air pressure but only came with a single nozzle lol! I sprayed 4 gallons of relatively thick PlastiDip on my car with the Shark 800 as well as it's similar model without the side refill port and both worked great, got nice even spray pattern since it produces quite good pressure to atomize all the fairly thick PlastiDip pretty well. The thinner your paint/stain/etc the less pressure you'll need to atomize it correctly so if this sprays PlastiDip well, it will spray anything thinner even better. If you're spraying latex paint you'll probably want to thin it about 50/50 water/paint since latex is like pudding and no sprayer will really spray paint that thick, or if it does manage to spray it, it won't spray evenly when it is that thick.
