Return 15 plus I bought last time. The phone came with 85% battery health and multiple finger nail deep scratches on the screen. I ended up getting 2 16e (1 from metro and 1 from cricket) and trading them in for 17e at the Apple store. Spent about 351 for new unlocked 17e, 4 months unlimited service, and 3 months HBO Max.
Graded in Canada is my dad joke answer. Really these are priced slightly lower than eBay but just like eBay the condition naming can be luck of the draw when it arrives so look everywhere for scratches, check battery health, and test all functions ASAP. Return policy might be easier for Woot if you hate it.

If I was looking for the 16e I'd probably just pay $419 directly from Apple for refurbished in either color (I prefer black which is not available with Woot). 100% battery health, like new condition, and full 1yr warranty with option to add AppleCare.

Jeez. 85% is like a well used 5 year old battery.
Bought 2 phones from swappa.com, they show you battery health and their grading is strict. Would prefer over this luck of the draw approach.
I bought a Grade A iPhone 15 for $350 from Woot a few weeks ago, and it was practically in mint condition. Not even micro-scratches on the screen. All genuine Apple parts. The only sign of wear was the fact that it was at 85% battery health. The way iPhones work, battery health doesn't affect performance or battery life until you dip below 80% battery health, so it should last at least 6 months before I have to replace the battery. I'd say Grade A is the equivalent of "excellent" but not quite "premium" due to battery health. Though the iPhone 15 I got from Woot was in much better condition than the two "excellent" 15 Pro Max phones I got from Amazon and Backmarket.
Just wanted to add my experience with their Apple Watches. I got one last week or so when this sale ran previously. I got a SS watch 7 45mm. Micro scratches on the screen and battery health was 73%. Asked for an exchange and the second unit looked mint, visually, but the battery was even worse at 71%. In trying to decide now to return it or take the partial refund they offered. So I guess keep in mind the watches don't appear to undergo and actual battery health check.
