Amazon reviews always seem to lean towards positive. I have had a few reviews rejected but it never says why and they were all negative.

I got the rectangular version of this for under $20 if I recall, and it's really not bad. One great thing is that it doesn't seem to suffer from the slime film the all plastic Catit inside the house gets weekly (despite the always on fountain), probably from the slight ionization that the metal gives off. We have it in sensing mode, and the battery lasts weeks before a recharge. Cat drinks from it, no prob. Price for this one seems OK, not super.
