This brushless one is half a pound heavier (5.5 lb vs 5 lb without battery. After you add a 4ah battery its nearly 7 lbs. I'm not a bodybuilder so I find it a little tiring to use after a while when you're trying to reach into cramped spaces or high up.
Every ounce makes a world of difference. Hence I just ordered the Brushless 2nd Gen metabo brad nailer thats way lighter and ergonomic.
