Could someone please provide the link to download the 2024 installation file direct from MS? I'd rather not DL the digitalkeys file if at all possible. Thanks
Update: through conversation with chatgpt I was able to dl the ms installer through the ms deployment tool and activate through word. Interesting that the version is the LTSC Standard 2024 version. But all is now good. So far.
BTW chatgpt strongly recommends NOT using the digitalkeys download since it is an EXE file, not an IMG.
Additional: I thought I should mention that when I originally clicked on the DL link provided in the digitalkeys confirmation email I received this warning from Malwarebytes:
If you go through checkout for the PC version, there's an offer on the checkout page to add Office 2024 for Mac for only $9.99. Still a decent deal at $16 total even if you don't need the $6 PC version.
Office software are here for 20+ year . Many alternative free option ( google, Libre) . Microsoft now abandon home user and focus more on enterprise clients , they get more from subscription model. My company use windows 11 and IT policy prohibit other office software for security reason , any one want to use office software is $170 /person/year . They do not even care about the massgrave website free office.
Same provider offered me a Mac version as an add on when checking out on this deal. Try to add to cart, go to check out, add the Mac version for $10, then delete the pc version from the cart.
I bought a three PC license from this site. After a few months when time came for installation, the key sent during purchase did not work. I sent them an email and they promptly sent me another code. The new code worked. After sometime I wanted to install on another PC, again the same story - previous code did not work. sent email, promptly got another code. The new code worked. Installed on theird PC, same story again. So I think it is safe to buy from them since they make it work with email support.

Everyone please read this comment and stop buying from these reseller websites. All your upvotes are being wasted, and so are your dollars, even if it's only $6

My primary concern is security. Is the MG script absolutely secure? My understanding has been to never run an installation script unless it is absolutely trusted. So, how can it be trusted. At least the activation code in this thread is just that - an activation code that I paid 6bux for. When activated from an installation of a product DL direct from Microsoft it seems that would be the most secure and trusted path. My mind is open, please explain why we should trust the MG script instead?

Not everyone is buying for use at work where there may be restrictions for security reasons.

That's 100% fair. I'm not technically savvy enough to evaluate the script to determine its safety. Can only speak from hearsay, including the fact that apparently even Microsoft support uses this method to troubleshoot for some users

Right, I'm speaking from the consumer perspective for folks who are willing to dig a little bit technically and don't like the idea of buying a "grey" license
