One of the best recent deals for buying a used Pixel 9, not the new Pixel 10, on its own was $347. No plan included.
3 months after the Pixel 10 was released in Aug 2025, Mint Mobile had a similar deal on a new Pixel 9: $379, or $50 more than this deal. For a last gen phone.
US Mobile also got rid of their inventory of the Pixel 9 before that: $339 (Pixel 9) + 1-Month of the $25 Unlimited Starter Plan = $364. This was about a month after the Pixel 10 came out and if you wanted a year of service, the total was about $500.
My conclusion: This is better than most historical deals. It's even better than ones that happen after a new model is released, which doesn't apply as this is still (just barely) the current model. It's definitely possible a better deal will come up, but I wouldn't bet on it. Even if it does happen, you'll likely have to wait a couple months.

This Mint bundle stands out as a strong way to get a new Pixel 10 with a year of unlimited service for far less than buying the phone outright. The phone is praised as a solid backup or upgrade, and the math often lands around the mid 300s after taxes and Mint's recovery fee, still well below unlocked retail pricing. The main drawbacks are the eSIM only setup in the US, the 128GB storage limit, and the need to activate within 45 days before the 60 day unlock clock starts. It feels like a compelling value if those tradeoffs fit your setup.
People wanting a cheap backup phone, because the Pixel 10 can serve as a spare and still unlock after Mint's 60-day requirement.
Families testing T-Mobile coverage before porting, because you can activate the line first, check service, and decide whether to keep or move your number.
Shoppers who plan to resell the handset later, because the phone can be sold new in box or after unlocking while keeping the included service.
People upgrading from an older phone for better battery health, because this bundle makes moving to a newer Pixel relatively inexpensive.
Shoppers who want a smooth, instant checkout, because orders can sit in review, get refunded, or take days to ship.
People who need a physical SIM slot in the phone, because the US Pixel 10 is eSIM-only.
Buyers who need immediate unlock or day-one custom ROM access, because the phone stays carrier-locked for 60 days before OEM unlocking.
Heavy photo and video shooters, because 128GB fills up quickly and can push you toward cloud storage.

Still have a couple of perfectly functioning Pixel 6a's in the house (I did have to replace the battery on 2 of them but that cost $40 from ifixit and was stupid easy!).
Overall - there are some things Pixel doesnt do as well as other phones or phone OS's but I dont count myself in the group that has suffered or hates Pixels. Sorry you havent been as fortunate!
