This Mint bundle stands out as a strong way to get a new Pixel 10 with a year of unlimited service for far less than buying the phone outright. The phone is praised as a solid backup or upgrade, and the math often lands around the mid 300s after taxes and Mint's recovery fee, still well below unlocked retail pricing. The main drawbacks are the eSIM only setup in the US, the 128GB storage limit, and the need to activate within 45 days before the 60 day unlock clock starts. It feels like a compelling value if those tradeoffs fit your setup.

Common Questions (6)

  • The out-the-door total reported is about $365.62 to $367 after taxes and Mint's recovery fee. Some checkouts also showed a $25 recovery upcharge, while one NY checkout showed $0 tax and $0 recovery fee at the final step.

  • The 60-day unlock clock starts when you activate the phone on Mint's network, not when you buy it or how long you keep it active afterward. After that period, the phone can unlock automatically or through support, and some reports say it unlocked sooner after activation.

  • The US Pixel 10 is eSIM-only and does not have a physical SIM slot. Outside the US, the Pixel 10 can have a physical SIM slot, which is why some buyers see conflicting hardware descriptions.

  • Yes, the line can be activated on the Pixel 10 and then moved to another phone immediately. The Pixel 10 itself is eSIM-only, so moving service usually means using an eSIM on the other device rather than a physical SIM.

  • Yes, porting is possible, but it needs to happen at activation rather than later. If you want to test coverage first, use a trial or activate with a new number, then port before the 45-day activation window closes.

  • Mint's terms say promotional plans must be activated within 45 days of purchase or Mint may suspend or terminate the plan. That means you should not sit on the bundle too long if you want to keep the prepaid service.

I wonder what the trade in value will be when Pixel 11 comes out. If $300, then this deal is awesome!

Doesn't Mint require you to activate on the eSIM of purchased Pixel 10?
Yes. Phone needs to be activated on Mint. So go get a 90 day card for 45 dollars.

All these companies are ridiculous...one worse than the next. Keep your device as long as you can. There's not too many more devices to be had before the end of days comes shortly.
I'm actually on a S25U now... but has 512GB storage, which I begrudgingly paid handsomely for (well my company did). If they ever bring back MicroSD card phones, I'd jump

Placed order in the afternoon. Got email as 'We are reviewing your order' with message just double checking things. Nothing on order confirmation yet. On order status too no information available for this order. Not sure whether order will be confirmed or not.

I got that same email on the order I placed yesterday before this was even posted on SD. I payed with PayPal for that order. Today I cancelled that order and ordered again but with a CC. Got an actual order confirmation email almost immediately. It even has the option to activate the eSIM now in the new order email.

Thing never shipped? I hope not, since I already activated the phone service. Chat rep said I could immediately use it on current phone and move once device arrives.

You could sell the phone as mint locked/new in box on swappa immediately. No need to open the box. Free mint unlimited for a year. I do this every year.
How much can you sell for on Swappa?
