IMO it's not worth it because it increases the bandwidth demand on your video conference call and your video conference software may not be able to use the 4k feature anyways.

I don't know what USB-A means, but I assume it is 5 Gbps. Is that enough bandwidth to run 3840*1920 resolution * 3 colors * 30 frames per second? That's why I wonder about the camera pushing that much bandwidth back to your PC. It is the bandwidth back to the PC - I'm not sure what gets transmitted, but Zoom/Teams may not transmit at 4k.
