This is a big 20 inch fat tire off road ebike that stands out for its smooth ride, quick assembly, and strong value at around $350. The build feels solid, the full suspension and fat tires draw praise, and the menu settings can unlock more speed, with some units reaching 28 to 31 mph. The main concerns are uneven quality control, including stuck batteries, throttle errors, hot charging bricks, scratched or dented parts, and suspension that may not be adjustable. Pedaling is awkward because the seat does not adjust and the pedals sit high, so it suits motor assisted riding more than regular biking.

  • Adult commuters wanting a cheap fast runabout, because it can reach about 28-31 mph after menu adjustments and rides smoothly.

  • Short-distance riders who want fat tires and full suspension, because it looks good and the ride feels smooth and fun.

  • Riders who want a quick assembly project, because setup can take about 20-30 minutes with basic brake calibration.

  • Tall riders who prefer a big, motorcycle-like stance, because the frame is large and the pedals sit high.

  • Buyers who want a fully sorted battery system, because the battery can stick in place and the charging brick can run extremely hot.

  • Trail riders needing confident off-road handling, because the hub motor and fat-tire geometry can feel unhappy on hills and twitchy in turns.

  • People who need a normal bicycle fit, because the seat is not adjustable and pedaling feels awkward unless you stand.

  • Riders who need dependable out-of-box electronics, because the throttle can fail with an E08 error and the speed settings may need menu changes.

Would it be pretty easy to swap or upgrade this battery? (should it go bad or go boom lol)

According to the 3rd or 4th photo, "Upgraded superior long range battery 48V 15AH [...] UL2849 Certified." Take this with a huge grain of salt, though; we don't know if that's legitimate, what grade of cells they're using, etc. See Adam Savage's Tested: "The Surprising Flaws in 18650 Lithium-Ion Batteries" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y23nfAOiXQ
This is actually a great video on the topic. If you do RC, you already have experienced exploding Li-on batteries multiple times, but most people don't realize how sketch most off-label batteries are. The highest risk happens at discharge (while you're riding) and given the fact this battery sits right underneath vital human parts and has a pretty high current, I'm not taking a risk as much as I want to buy this.

recharge is highest risk I should have said, but still risky during discharge especially while riding a bike that introduces the added risk of crash impact, which could explode it right then and there.

You guys are killing me! Last e-bike I had was a Hurley Hydro 29E. Those 29" wheels were a dream to ride but 23mph just wasn't cutting it for me so I sold it. Now I'm wondering if even 30-ish mph is enough, though except for the 20" fat tires, this is calling my name. 🤔

"Off road ebike $355" what could possibly go wrong? I'm intrigued for street use, but I wouldn't risk my life on an actual trail with this.

Illegal in most places with the exception of private land. Strange that people think you can ride e-motorcycles wherever a bike goes, which is very much not the case.

I bought this last week. Yesterday was the first time riding it. It's nice. I'm still learning how to work everything. The only issue I had was trying to remove the battery. It's stuck and won't slide off. But the customer service seems to be on the ball. I'm hoping for a solution today. But for this price, it's worth a little hassle.
Is the seat height adjustable?

No it's not unfortunately. It's a bit awkward to pedal unless you stand up. But I didn't buy it to ride like a bike. I bought it to start commuting, so I'm fine with it. But if you want something that will pedal like a bike, unless you have very short legs, you will not want this.

Thanks. I got stuck with a bike that was too small for me on an overseas bike tour and it screwed up both my knees (MCLs) for 2 months!

Adults.

A 14 year old could probably handle it, but it goes too fast for a kid. Kids will try to go as fast as possible & get hurt or worse.

It's a BIG bike. I'm 5,10 and I have to get on my tiptoes to swing my leg over. Then again maybe I just have shorter legs lol🤔

Mine is coming Thursday. Can you post a couple of pics? Any opinions about the ride, quality etc?

Assembled the bike (took 20 minutes) and rode it yesterday. Need to go into the menu to get the full speed of this bike. Should unlock to 9 power modes. Now it goes a lot faster... but need to use google maps or a local radar sign to see if it's actually around 31mph.

Only downside is that my twist throttle doesn't work and the display says E08 (throttle error)... but I like the thumb push throttles better anyway, so I ordered a $10 one from Amazon and I'm hoping that fixes the issue.

The bike is BIG... definitely for a 5'8"+ rider... however the pedals are very HIGH... so awkward to pedal but I got used to it within 10 minutes.

Ride is smooth, fun, and easy. I need to adjust the assisted pedal delay (takes a few seconds to kick in and I want it instant) and a few other things.

If anyone plays with the menu and finds out more tricks or how to unlock more power... please comment!!
