Repeatedly trying to click through the fi.google.com/play-promo did nothing.
Promo code shows in the cart banner from the beginning for me, so no need to click all the way through to the last page before finding out if it's working or not (like I kept doing.)
so yeah if u planning on using tablets need the most expensive plan which still comes out pretty cheap like $180/year (normal price without discount is like crazy over $800/year) basically cheaper than Mint and don't get tablet support with Mint plan.

Then I contacted Google support and after 4 days they added the 75% off.
So now I have the 75% off. And $60 Google fi promotion for referral.
I read that you're not supposed to get the $60 Google Fi promotion credit. But in this case I did. Most likely because the way that I did it. This was more so by chance it not something I read on slick deal.

Very surprising! So on the Fi 50gb that would put the mint 1 year plan costing 3 or $4 more per month.
But I agree with Desi. If you need a new phone go with Mint (they are back in stock). Mint will show the final cost on the checkout page.
You click the link below with your google account. Take a screenshot of the promo page with your account on the right side visible, go forward and the plan goes to normal pricing( grab the pic of this page as well) and go to contact/support on Google Fi- raise a ticket with promo not showing up and attach both screen shots.
You can either ask for a call or chat, I did one for each of the numbers moving in. Both worked, were on different google accounts. They apply the promo manually after you accept the plan
