I'm hoping to hear from anyone if the series 9 is a significant / worthwhile upgrade from let's say's the io3/ io5
Don't mind $pending up on a daily use product if it's worth it

I upgraded from the io series 5 to the io series 7 and thought it was worth it. I did get the 7 on a really good deal from Walgreens for $80 and $40 Walgreens cash back. Anyway I really like being able to monitor the battery life of my toothbrush which the 5 doesn't have anything to do that. It doesn't even have 3 lights to indicate battery life like my old 7000 and 10,000. Also it keeps doing this thing wear when I turn it off it spins twice and flashes an orange light which I have no idea what the issue is. The higher end ones like the 7 or 9 have a oled display that tells you with words and pictures what the issue is. For example if the brush head needs to be replaced it tells you and doesn't just flash some orange light and you try and guess what it is. Also the 7 seems more powerful than the 5 because I find myself using the more powerful brush mode with the 5 and never do it with the 7. I'm even thinking about upgrading to the io 9 at this price but I probably won't because it doesn't have the isense charging base which I really want. Anyway I hope this helps a little.
there's a $20 Amazon credit now. differences like that, coupons, or price changes greater than $.09, to name a few, distinguish a deal enough that it's not considered a repost under our repost rules.
I've had a lot of issues with my 7. The battery will randomly die, but if I take it apart and remove the battery it'll work fine and show the true charge.

I have a 9 that was having battery issues. It would go from about 50% to 0% without warning. I sent it in under the 2 year warranty and they replaced it.

Which of those listed things differentiates the one I listed?
