It comes and goes as available at Walmart, and I don't agree getting caught up in the 'it isn't a sale price' when it is selling for less than even on QVC with the $15 off coupon. Sale price is nothing but a term, a sale price can be more than the this 'isn't a sale' price elsewhere. And because people's one year term is up on a rolling basis, this is a slick deal for many who may be tempted in by the QVC or HSN posts for these phones who don't routinely shop for these TF deals..

it comes WITH the service, the card will be included in the box. $50 is for BOTH the phone and the one year plan outlined.

Ah, just re-read...only 1,500 minutes. But for a side business phone (freelancer)...might be worth it if I keep it on WiFi to avoid the low data limit.

I can certainly see both sides of the argument, but either way, this came up at exactly the right time for me since an existing TF account was expiring soon and needed more cheap minutes. I would have probably missed this in my search for cheap alternatives if it wasn't for your post, so much thanks.

I didn't see a card in the box, but nothing was needed for TF CS to make the swap and the minutes came right in and were added to existing roll over minutes while extending the expiration date of the existing account for another year.

I've been doing exactly that for a few years on these deals. Just got done with the one in this deal. Called TF CSR and had them swap phones with the existing phone # and account to the new phone. I texted BALANCE to 611611 prior to the call to get my existing balance. I told them that the new phone came with 1500 min at activation, and told them I wanted to keep the number from the old phone and the existing account and xfer everything to the new phone and I wanted the 1500 minutes to be combined with my existing minutes. They said no problem, and in a few minutes it was done. Very pleasant transaction.
