I'd call TF and cut through the phone menu recorded bot system by repeatedly saying "customer service" and when you get a live body ask them these questions. They'll ask for the IMEI.

The only thing Walmart should do is scan the box so that it isn't flagged as stolen. It should have a sim. The plan is loaded on the phone via the sim. Did you check inside the sim tray? Or look under Settings, About phone IMEI1:

I haven't booted up the phone, but i looked in SIM tray & it was empty. The red card has an IMEI & sim card number on it, but again, no physical SIM card.

So, does it have RAM boost that can get ot to 16GB, or is there different models with different amounts,, maybe? When they're not clear,, it's usually some funny math going on.

Edit 2: how is this phone compared to the Moto g stylus 5g? I've been satisfied with those Motorola phones, but the only other ones I've used are the old Motorola razr, back when Windows phones existed, & i wasn't too impressed.
2024 has a dull LCD screen while the 2025 Stylus has the pOLED screen which is much better and brighter, especially in sun. The Stylus camera is better, sound from either is good. I had both and just sold the Stylus. No more Moto's for me for awhile.

Yes that's how it works. The person I quoted made it sound like it was pre-activated on an esim which I've never seen.

Be aware (i wasn't), we only have 14 days to return these to Walmart. I thought it was the standard 30 days (Walmart usually has 90 days for many things), so I almost, screwed, myself since I wasn't any hurry thinking I had a month.
