The LG C5 65 inch OLED with the bundled soundbar is being treated as a strong value when it lands around $1,070 to $1,100, especially for a bright, premium picture and a clean, user friendly interface. The picture is described as beautiful out of the box, and the soundbar is fine enough to keep or move to another room. Availability is the main snag, with regional stockouts, cart errors, and promo codes that stop working or show a higher price. A few comments also raise privacy and reliability concerns, including microphone tracking language and isolated overheating or crash reports, so it is best viewed as a compelling but not effortless purchase.

In case anyone cares, LG now says it's up to the user to inform their guests that their TV is listening to their conversations. And their monitors install spare into your system

This C5 vs. Panasonic Z8, which one is better?
I think the z8 only comes in 77-inch unless you're talking about the older one from two years ago

Panasonic allows for hdr10+ and dolby vision while the LG only allows DV.

I got this last month on a deal here. I absolutely have 0 regrets. The picture is beautiful out of the box. The sound bar is OK. We kept our old one in place but threw the new one in the bedroom. It sounds great.

any ideas how to get to be a LG Partner? i always miss these
To access the LG Partner Store in the USA, you must either be an employee of an eligible corporate partner, a registered LG B2B reseller, or meet the criteria for LG's Appreciation Program. Users generally report that you must log in and verify your employment via a valid corporate email address or through ID.me Verification.or you must be a first responder, nurse, doctor, teacher. You also to have a verified ID (I went through ID.me)

Dolby Vision is significantly better than HDR10+, so it's irrelevant.

That says $800 for the S90D. The S90F is only $50 more.

LOL..I guess that is the reason the Samsung S95H OLED won the Value Electronics shootout over the LG G6

We've said this before.. nobody cares what you and your family are watching or saying. It's not interesting or needed for a recording. EEK! What do you think they will record from your family? Confused I'm definitely not interested shake head So what do you think South Korea is looking for?
Their T's and C's now explicitly say to be aware of "wiretapping" via on-device microphones, and to warn guests that anything they say may be recorded and transmitted. Absolutely ridiculous.

As an owner of several LG OLEDs, I immediately took them off the network after seeing the Gamers Nexus video. LG makes objectively great panels, but their "updates" spit in the face of consumer privacy, and is flat-out outrageous capitalistic behavior that warrants a complete boycott. People need to stop pretending moves like this are ok.

The evidence is damning;
