Mint's bundle pairs a year of 5G home internet with an unlimited phone plan, and the strongest appeal is the low effective monthly cost for both services. The home internet side includes a free 5G gateway, and the gateway can be taken on road trips. There is a 14 day money back guarantee with no restocking fee, 45 days to activate home internet, and no five year lock in after the first year. The main caveats are address eligibility, since some locations are not covered, and service quality can trail fiber in latency and stability.
People without fiber or cable service, because 5G home internet can be a godsend when DSL is the only alternative.
Shoppers in areas with strong Mint coverage but no home eligibility, because phone service can still work well even when the home internet address is unavailable.
Households needing a second internet connection, because the service can cover overflow usage when another connection runs out of bandwidth.
Road-trippers who want to take the home gateway along, because the device can be brought on trips without a stated restriction.
Buyers whose address is outside the eligible footprint, because the home internet can be unavailable at a specific location.
Households that need fiber-like low latency for gaming or work calls, because the 5G home connection can lag more than wired service and is affected by tower congestion and signal drops.
People who want a hotspot device included, because hotspot use comes from a phone's cellular hotspot and no gadget is supplied.
People in Dallas-area neighborhoods with unstable mobile reception, because the network can keep dropping there.

no, s/b on the phone service only which is about $30 for most. still $570 for a year of WIFI AND UNLIMITED PHONE?? less than $48 a month. Don't get hung up on the taxes if it's still far cheaper than anything else out there.

it is still cheaper, it is, even though you say it is not. But for that kind of difference in price, it's minimal savings so likely not worth the hassle of changing.
Also I get about 450 MBpersecond with my Mint Mobile phone data. But I am not eligible for Minternet due to where I live... but even if I was, I don't think it makes sense.
That's your opinion of course, I've been on MINTERNET since last November and been happy with it. To each their own.
So I am the type of guy who would switch to save $3.00 BUT only if my service remained the same or got better... I would never ever try to save $3 if my internet service would suffer.
