I've been pining for a larger volume and actively heated printer, so took the plunge on the K2 Plus given these considerations. 1. In the past few months while in the market for 3D scanners, have bought a refurb Otter and Raptor from the Creality Refurb eBay store and was delighted that the Otter was absolutely brand new in the box and the Raptor was so lightly used, most folks would have though it was brand new. 2. I did end up returning the Otter to buy the better Raptor and sending it back was no problem, they even paid the shipping and I received a prompt credit...very easy to deal with. 3. Having been in the hobby for almost 10 years now and on my 5th printer, have come to respect Teaching Tech on YouTube for his savvy and rich analysis. I watched his K2 Plus review from a year ago, and while not a ringing endorsement, having had both Creality and Bambu printers, don't expect the very refined Bambu experience and for $747 am ok with the minor wonkiness that can come with some Creality products. I am hoping that the TPU and other minor issues he experienced have since been resolved with updates and I'm ok buying an additional 3rd party build plate for ASA and even all metal extruder gears to help handle TPU. If it weren't for their free returns, I would have been more hesitant too. It's also huge....I've seen it in person at Micro Center and it's mini-fridge big! Wishing you a peaceful contemplation.
