I would not have bought it without the advertised 140 watt single charge capability, especially at double the price of the Mokin chargers.

Here's the deal -- to get 140W out, your device (assume a laptop) must support certain PD 3.1 input power combinations to work. Fortunately, on my A16, I can charge at 100W and not get a message that the charger is underrated and the laptop runs at full performance so that's a plus! I wish that Asus would have just elected to support the PD 3.1 140W standard and not screw around with a proprietary 130W one.

Hope that's not too confusing.

EDIT: If you decide you want 2 Mokin chargers for the price of this one Anker, just select qty 2 and the price changes to $56 total and better yet, no sales tax (at least for me).

You're using the Magsafe connector on the side of the MBP? Also, make sure the battery is below 50% to be sure the Mac is asking for the most juice to charge. Which MBP do you have?
