Activate then move eSim to another phone, will it still unlock after 60 days? or i have to wait for 60 days to make sure the phone is unlocked before moving the eSim?
Quote from dogmarcopolo :
Sorry if it was asked already. my question is:

Can i activate the eSim on the Pixel 10 first, then move the eSim to another phone afterwards (in a day or two, for example). In that case, will the Pixel 10 still be unlocked after 60 days even if the eSim isn't associated with the phone anymore? Or should i keep the eSim with Pixel 10 after 60 days until the unlock is confirmed before moving the eSim?

Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Yes you can move it after you activate it on Mint and it should still unlock in 60 days.

As others have said it would be safest to keep the eSim activated on Mint for the 60 days then when the phone unlocks move it to another phone

Me too. I ordered on Wednesday and had a trade-in. This morning, Saturday, I got the prepaid label to send my trade-in to them, and I also got my shipping notification.

Can I transfer the esim to my Samsung phone and give the Pixel to someone else? Yes, I know that it'll be locked for 12 months. Unfortunately, I need a Samsung phone because I need the all the health functions on my Galaxy watch.

Have you done this? It sounds like a great idea.
But be aware some banks don't accept google voice number, so you can not verify your identity using the number you transfered to google voice, Chase is an example.

So I'm a little cautious of switching my main line to Mint before feeling out their network and ensuring I have good connectivity in all my typical spots. If I were to get this as a second line, could I port my number in half way into the year?

I'm starting to find out things, and more things. Things are complicated, when they SHOULD NOT be complicated. I've done tech since 1981 and things were supposed to get simpler for the common person. IT HAS NOT.
