Today I got a shipping notification email for my order placed July 21. The tracking is not in the system yet and it says it will ship Monday.

Port your main number to Google voice and just get a new throwaway number here while using the Google voice phone app for the next year for your real number
It costs $20 to port in to google voice and some banks may not allow 2fa for google voice numbers.

Is there any way to sell the mint plan in the deal?
You have to use the phone on the plan for 60 days to get it unlocked. Then you could sell a 10 month plan to someone who wants a new number.

So I'm a little cautious of switching my main line to Mint before feeling out their network and ensuring I have good connectivity in all my typical spots. If I were to get this as a second line, could I port my number in half way into the year?
No. You can only port a number in during initial activation.

Yes you can move it after you activate it on Mint and it should still unlock in 60 days.As others have said it would be safest to keep the eSim activated on Mint for the 60 days then when the phone unlocks move it to another phone
Probably need to keep the pixel on wifi after moving the esim so mint could access the phone to unlock it.

Im considering doing this but wondering how to logistically make it work if coming from US Mobile where our current annual plan renews around August 20th. The thing is, we have iphone 13s and dont want to deal with switching OSes (and apps and all that). Do i just port our numbers over and use the Pixels for 60 days (so they unlock) and then go back? Or do we just get new numbers on Mint and go to the cheapest USMobile plans that exist and then switch over after 60 days from activating the Pixels on mint?
I think you can activate the pixel on mint and then transfer the esim to your iphone. Then leave the pixel on and connected to wifi so it can be unlocked after 60 days.

Deal dead, I was planning on buying today. Too bad.

I don't even care about unlocking I'll probably trade it for a p11 if there's a good trade in deal

Signal good like us mobile? I might try it out.
I was on Dark Star (AT&T) with US mobile and now on T-mobile network with Mint. Maybe a bit better signal in my home city but all 3 networks are pretty good overall here.

The phone temporarily sold out for two days last week and then came back. I was able to place an order after the restock. The deal might return again but don't count on the "email notification" on the Mint page to notify you when that happens. You have to manually check the website.

Have you estimated the potential trade-in value? Another thing to keep in mind is that Google has been forced to enact a substantial price bump for the G11 that now makes it pricier than the equivalent iPhone. The value proposition of the Pixel is just not compelling with the G11. Because of the chip shortage occured after the G10 typical trade-in math may no longer favor the traditional "buy and flip" strategy.

How long service is included with this deal? Do you need to pay monthly after purchasing the device?

A one-time payment of $180 gets you 12 months of service.
