Yikes I do realize that now, I am thinking maybe then can say like device not unlocked maybe to deny the trade in? It says in Trade In terms like section 3 "Device IMEI is not locked", but I think, it's not the same as Carrier Unlocked but I might be wrong?

Look at https://www.mintmobile.com/allsta...onditions/ Under Section 3 Trade-In Program Eligibility
Trade-in FAQ says you can trade locked mint phones.

https://www.mintmobile.com/help/h...gram-work/

"If I'm a current Mint Mobile subscriber, can I trade in a phone that's locked to Mint Mobile?

If the phone is fully paid off, you can still trade it in"

I traded in the Pixel 10 they sent me and $400. They treat the device as paid off. Doesn't matter that it isn't unlocked.

I know it's a good deal and I want the phone. But unfortunately I don't have access to the original address where it was shipped anymore. There is no way to redirect or hold the package.
You can. Sign up at the FedEx tracking website and provide an alternate address.

I was told by FedEx customer service repeatedly that this package from Mint mobile cannot be forwarded. The shipper put such restriction on it.

In developers option, you can check to see if OEM Unlock is grayed out or not
Thanks.
Although, I think that may indicate a different feature - whether the bootloader can be, or is, unlocked - not whether the device is Carrier Unlocked.

If I use the "My Pixel" app:
My Pixel app > Support > Google Pixel 10 View More > Device details > Device
=> "Pixel 10 Obsidian 128GB (T-Mobile)"

I also have a Pixel 6a, that I got from Xfinity Mobile, which eventually unlocked it, and it currently does not contain a SIM.
My Pixel app > Support > Google Pixel 6a > Device details > Device
=> "Pixel 6a 128GB Charcoal (Unlocked)"

I don't know what the difference of "T-Mobile" for my Pixel 10 vs. "Unlocked" for my Pixel 16a indicates, if anything.

What does your "My Pixel" app say about your Pixel 10?

I'm on Graphene OS, I don't have My Pixel app. The OEM unlock is to be able to install other operating systems and other developer features. I believe some pixels can't be OEM unlocked (Verizon specifically).

OK.
If someone else has got their Pixel 10 unlocked already by Mint, and is running regular Android, I would be interested in what your My Pixel app reports for your device. Especially if you have installed another non-Mint/non-T-Mobile eSIM, but also if you are still using Mint on the Pixel 10.

Not sure whether you have to get customer care involved. When they left a "we missed you" sticker on my door. I went to the tracking details and logged in and got the option to provide an alternate address to deliver. I stopped short of providing the address at that time and waited for another day and they delivered to the apartment front office. I say, you give it a try. It's nice deal.

An easy way for me to tell (in addition to the OEM unlock) was to get cricket's free trial esim. If it installs, it's unlocked. Or it'll say it's locked and can't be installed.

I have 2. Mint unlocked one for overseas use. Both show the same as yours under My Pixel-Pixel 10 Obsidian 128GB (T-Mobile) . installed the Cricket trial esim on the unlocked one. Works fine. Still shows same under My Pixel.

So my wife's P10 has only been up for 3 weeks. In the my pixel app it does say 'unlocked' but in the developer's options it is still grayed out. In a sickw report it also says 'unlocked'.

And there's this from google: If you need to check for a carrier SIM lock instead, manually disable "Automatically select network" under Settings > Network & internet > SIMs to see if multiple carrier networks appear.

I tried this and it never fully turned off and only shows mint as a network. I guess the my pixel app report means nothing. Like you said, maybe someone with a fully unlocked Mint P10 can chime in. I will find out in 5 more weeks.
