Please let's keep government regulation where they are now. People taking supplements should research each product. Support the companies that are transparent and do third party testing and show those test results along with product information. People buying only from reputable companies will "police" the market and bad companies simply will get no business. Consumers can do this without government further involvement if they wish to put in the effort.

edit: after someone posted some great pics for size, I'd say they likely are '000' capsules and probably do have, or close to, 200mg each capsule. Good deal for this price. Tablets are still the better option for getting 200mg glycinate in 1.

Go to any gas station and look at all the tiny plastic bottles and pills.

They buy the package and ingredients separately from China and fill them with whatever they want.

18 year olds don't have the life experience to know that stuff can be highly addictive or dangerous depending on what is added.

Those young people all have a phone attached to them. Can easily look for information on anything these days. Like was said, one needs to put in the effort. Take the responsibility for one's own actions. The government does not have a great record on health care. Personally I do not want the government involved in regulating every little aspect of life.

That would be the ideal scenario, but take this example here. This product claims to be 3rd party tested, but it's not. It has no stamps on the bottle from USP, NSF, or informed choice. So they're lying about the inspection....now what else are they lying about? If we could trust the labels, then yes, allow consumers to make their own choices. But therein lies the problem, hence the required (at least basic) regulation that's needed.

If anyone is still following, this is relevant to future Magnesium deals also so I'll comment anyway.

This product is confirmed, using 00 capsules 900mg avg filled, a typical Magnesium Oxide buffered Magnesium Glycinate.

200mg elemental Magnesium IS correct, BUT it is NOT 100% Magnesium Glycinate and has an unknown percentage of Magnesium Oxide to makeup the difference.

Using simple best-case scenario assumptions, it's likely 50/50 - 100mg comes from Magnesium Glycinate and 100mg comes from Magnesium Oxide per capsule.

TLDR;
Consider this a 100mg (AT BEST) Magnesium Glycinate capsule. Good deal for $4, cancel any S&S.
