The boot up on this is much quicker on Switch 2. I mean, another reason might be for the track options on dlc since there are more retro tracks in this game.

Better question is: is there any reason to get Mario Kart World when we already have Mario Kart Infinity (sideways 8) with dozens of tracks from the series history.

No, but that 8 symbol was made to look like an infinity symbol and a Möbius strip. Which was fitting bc it seemed like that would be the last Mario Kart and they kept adding tracks for years and years. So I call it Mario Infinite/Infinity.
