Yes, the math has to add up. Pretty much every 67w multiport charger works this way.

It's still a very good deal. A name brand 67w charger with 3 ports for $12 is a great price. When would you need 65w on 2 ports at the same time? You charge 2 laptops at once?

Many newer phones and tablets use much higher charging wattage than the paltry 20 watts output on this when using both usbc ports. Even older phones like the s22+ use 25w to supercharge. It's worthless having multiple ports that cannot simply put out enough wattage to charge 2 modern and even older devices at the same time. 20 watts on port 2 is pathetic. Try charging two S26+ or S26 Ultra phones at the same time. They use 45 and 65 watts each. Buy this only if you plan on using ONE device plugged in or suffer the consequences. The thing is way too big to be able to use just 1 port because the others are pretty useless. It has no business being a multiport charger that gimps the second USBC port that much.

You have any recs? You sound like you know your stuff. Idc about price.

Had a similar thought when I noticed it wasn't directly via Best Buy. Fwiw, Newease is claimed to be an "authorized online distributor and reseller partner for Acer Gadget Inc., a subsidiary of Acer Inc." 4.55 on ~300 reviews on BB's own site.

For some this is good enough, for some this isn't. Good luck to all!

Again, it's simple math. If you want 65w on 2 ports you will need a higher wattage charger. So that's at least 130 w if not higher. If you want 45w on 2 devices then you need at least 90w or higher. If that's your desire why look into a post for a 67w charger.
And I wholeheartedly disagree with you on the usefulness of this. I have a bunch of 65 to 67w chargers and they are by far the most popular and versatile chargers in my household. Just because a phone can charge 30 or even 45w doesn't mean it has to. As a matter of fact, I usually prefer it doesn't, especially when you are charging overnight and you are not in a rush. It's better for your battery health. These are perfect for travel. They are smaller and more portable than 100w and 140w chargers. They can charge 3 devices overnight. When 1 device needs a faster charge or when you need to charge a laptop, you can still do that. Stop buying into the phone marketing that you need to charge your phone super fast all the time. You don't.

Oh and have you actually compared total charge time for a device from say 50% to 100% between a 18w charger and a 45 w charger. It's not twice as fast. Not even close. Once it reaches about 85 to 90 percent it throttles the charging quite a bit. The difference is like maybe 5 minutes if even that. It's the phone not the charger that's doing the throttling. Again it's to protect the battery health.

You do you. Never said I wanted 65 watts on 2 ports. How about the manufacturer at the very least SPLIT the wattage between both USBC ports for it to be usable as a dual charger hmmm? Umm yeah, if I charge my phone at a lower wattage with a charger that doesn't output the wattage my phone can handle and negotiate then the time to charge is consistently DOUBLE as stated by the phones own charging status bar from 1 hour to 2 hours. You want to charge slow then go ahead and charge overnight if you really think your poor battery is going to suffer. Its not. Your device will be far outdated and slow before your battery gives up for the 5 percent of life you are trying to save by charging slowly. Nobody's got all day to sit around waiting for their highly frequently used important devices to charge. Id rather have a charger that can output what my device needs and charge quickly as it's designed to do than to have a charger that can't keep up to what my devices demands and be waiting around. Not to mention, poor chargers thermal throttle power when they get hot and don't nearly put out the wattage they are rated for. Try 2 modern devices on 1 underpowered charger and see what happens. If this thing can't even put out more than 20 watts at the same time using both ports, good luck when your watching your phone barely go up 1 percent in 5 minutes at max load. Plenty of other way better 1 port chargers out there that are 1/3 the size and output 65 watts on 1 port and 100watt chargers with 2 ports that are slightly bigger and do the same AND split the wattage evenly. The ONLY thing this charger has got going for it is price and the ability to output 67 watts on one port. That's what it should have been made as, a single port charger AND it would have been much smaller too. Having two other useless ports outputting antiquated wattage suitable for 10 year old devices make the charger exactly worth what its selling for.

Belkin or Anker GAN with PPS and PD 3.1 or 3.2, QC5, AVS, and that also supports Samsung supercharging 3.0(or at least 2.0)

Split the wattage? Nooooo.
Most people including myself would prefer 45+20 over 30+30 any day. Why? Because most ultrabook laptops can charge at 45w but cannot or would struggle at 30w. You are exaggerating the charging speed and needs of a modern phone. On the airplane, I take a cheap 18w charger so that if I leave it on the plane I don't really care. The charging speed is just fine. I never feel like it won't charge enough by the time I land. And since you didn't listen to what I was telling you, I will prove it to you. I have a Samsung fold 7 phone, about as modern of a phone as it gets. It's at 66% charge. I plugged in a 18w Samsung charger with a single usb-a port. It puts it in Fast Charging mode and time to full is 46 minutes. I plug in a Samsung 45w charger single usb-c and it puts it into Super Fast charging mode. The estimated time to full is 42 minutes. That's a 4 minute difference. 4 minutes. I think I can live with waiting 4 more minutes most of the time. And if I can't, well 99% of the time, I don't need 2 devices that urgently can't wait 4 minutes. But you are right about 1 thing. You do you.
And again, why did you bother clicking on a post for a 67w charger when you know it will not provide enough for 2 of your devices? I have never seen a 67w or 65w charger that splits the wattage in half. No one but you would buy that for the reason I stated above.
