This EGO 21 inch mower stands out for strong cut quality, solid reliability, and especially good value for anyone already in the EGO battery ecosystem. The bundle is attractive because it includes two batteries and a rapid charger, and the charger is described as fast enough to keep one battery cycling while the other is in use. The main drawback is runtime, since the included 4.0Ah batteries are considered small for larger lawns and are better suited to smaller yards or about half an acre with careful pacing. A recent recall was also linked, so it is worth checking before buying.
The deal bundles two 4.0Ah batteries with a rapid charger, which can reduce the need to buy batteries separately.
The rapid charger is described as fast, and warranty replacement for a failed battery is reported as fast and easy.
The mower is reported to run reliably without cutting out during regular use.
The included batteries are described as having resale value, which can improve overall deal economics.
The included 4.0Ah batteries are described as insufficient for anything beyond a very small yard.
Battery runtime may fall short on a single charge for some lawns, especially when cutting close to the limit.
Charging during mowing may require swapping while batteries are still warm, which can reduce battery longevity.
The deal value may be less compelling versus robotic mowers that cost only slightly more.
