I'm sure this is great, but this wouldn't be slickdeals if you couldn't be happy with the greenworks:

You're comparing apple and oranges. Greenworks is NOT on the same level as Ego. You get what you pay for. Just because you are happy doesn't mean it's a better product.

Have this. Great deck..but.. 4.0 battery with it is insufficient to cut anything but a postage stamp sized yard.. Enjoy

I'm not saying they're apples to apples and everybody needs to make their own decisions wether they need to drive a porsche or a toyota. All I'm saying is that there are mowers out there for half the price that are pretty good, especially when someone is coming from a non-propelled gas mower. YMMV

What a clueless statement. I have a kobalt (made by gw) and it is better in every way than my brand new ego. I thought I was upgrading but not at all.

Yes, there are other mowers out there. Why not give this mower its own deal page instead of posting in an Ego deal page? The majority of people looking for Ego mowers are not considering Greenworks.

I have a whole slew of Greenworks tools (60V 25" mower, blower, trimmer; 24V impact, driver, Brad nailer, and saw) and they're all fantastic tools. I haven't used a single one and said "Man, this thing sucks. I wish I had the Ego."

Your comment is akin to you having a $100 bill and belittling somebody with five $20s.

My two cents. Have the Greenworks and wish it was a dual blade like this (the cut is better). If a Greenworks model ever goes on sale with dual blades, I'm down.

If you have a smaller lawn, example , typical lot size in NJ where I used to live was 50ft wide, 100ft deep lots. If that is your property size this would work. I live in a rural area in PA and have about 1/2 acre worth of grass to cut including the side and top of my septic mound. I can easily go through 2x of the 7.5 batteries.

You're entitled to your opinion as to which brand has a better mower. I have mine...carry on

I have a different mode. I later backfited it to have select cut. wish I bought it that way. this deal is awesome and has 2 batteries! that charger ain't cheap either and it's fast. if mine ever breaks, i'm staying with this brand. I had a battery go out on me and warranty replacement was fast and easy.

I wish they sold ego at costco. almost bought greenworks a hundred times because of that. aside from you're right, it's dumb to switch tool systems for 1 tool IMO.

kobalt is rarely 'better' than anything. it's not garbage, but I have never seen a review with kobalt on top. ego is the best for electric lawn stuff. vs gas? yea ain't gonna win that one, but battery powered. I have kobalt stuff I had some good deals on, but it's like buying temu ryobi sometimes.

haters gonna hate. value is value and not always 'best'. I appreciate the alternatives, especially since you linked it.
