I was finally able to put the order now 7.30 am 26th of July with $30 reserve discount and $100 pre-reserve discount. Also applied it to Buds3 Pro rather than the watch. Trade-in Fold5 with damaged inner screen black line in the middle and touch doesn't work for $900 credit. Added 2 years care plus, paid in full but will call later for a refund since I am a VIP member, should be free for me. It took me 30 minutes to make it work. Adding watch and buds, removing one and keeping one etc. I will sell the Buds4 Pro since I have them and make money towards the phone. Will upload all discounts screenshot and put them here in a few minutes. I also used my working advantage portal which is same as student discounts. Total was $2043 including 6.25% taxes in MA. I got the Ultra 1TB. I was also able to use PayPal100 for additional $100 discount. I should get $270 refund for the care plus 2 years, also sell the Buds4 pro may be for $170 on Facebook. Makes my total $1603 including the 2 years care plus & taxes with broken Fold 5 trade-in. lesson learned, I won't sell my 1TB phones moving forward. Crazy increase in price every year. This is $200 more than what I paid for my Fold7 1TB. I also got 2% cash back as well as around 10000 reward points which is equal to $50.

I know. I am. Willing to take the risk. The difference is $300. Worth it for me. I will fight back if they don't give $900 cos the trade-in description doesn't say if you're trading a foldable both outer screen and inner screen must be free from scratches not broken and functional etc. 3rd time and I'm willing to do it!

Was the $100 pre-reserve discount automatic? Or you have to apply code manually? I only see $30 credit. Also, I didn't get the text offer code of $20. Thanks

It was automatic. I didn't get any text message either. Didn't have any $20 additional discount. Not a deal breaker though. The $100 was called Pre-reserve credit lol. No idea what I did to get that. I subscribed multiple times to all emails I got before launch as well as through Facebook etc.

Tbh, I think it may be better to sell your S26 Ultra and buy a Fold6 for trade-in. That's what I did and the out of pocket cost for the Fold6 is about $575....

💯 agree but from my experience the trade-in deals are best at pre-order and I needed to get rid of this Fold 5. Later there will be more deals for 256GB and 512GB without trade-in I'm sure for those who are ok to wait for 3 months or so. 1TB less likely. Let's see.
