Also is this a good tool, or is the HP brushless much better?
There are multiple options for the free tool. I just got an inflator yesterday. It was between this deal or $45 for the USB tool. Not much difference in CFM, but two batteries and a charger plus use it for tires is a good bonus when I'm in the middle of no reception in Montana. I won't have to worry about also bringing the inflator from the truck when I take the car or ride with someone.
I had to get them online because the Milwaukee guy said they stopped in-store pricing about a week ago and didn't have any battery kits in the store. They delivered the inflator to my house, even. doesn't seem to make much sense to make two deliveries instead of offering in the store.
These cheap tools aren't great, but should get the easy jobs done. Even resale is low. I had trouble selling one brand new sealed for $40 after selling the batteries for $70 when I decided I didn't need it. I can usually get a good price for DeWalt around here and get my money back. These are pretty much throw away when you're done with them. I like using my DeWalt to Ryobi adapter for $10-18 and I can use those batteries, but sometimes it's nice to have the originals because they're pretty light, but I can use the nice DeWalt pouch battery for better performance.
