That being said, MRSP 700-750 was common last year, so getting into that range would be a good deal imho in light of new cards coming out probably next year.

The 9070 XT is effectively identical performance, doesn't have the terrible connector in most cases, and is significantly cheaper. If you get an OC version with 3x8-pin it's also a decent bit faster, with the ability to go to 5080 performance with a mild OC.
I see multiple 9070 XT for $730, which means you could upgrade to an X3D cpu in your build
or take a YMMV stacking of special coupon from Amex or Paypal etc.
That's not gonna come again for everyone.

It's a good time to buy anything that is nor RAM or GPU related because all other parts are cheaper with these bundled deals as they cut prices to offset RAM/GPU higher costs so consumers would actually buy something.
I'm sure next arguement is to wait for Black Fiday or Prime, or the next version of XYZ is coming out (which is every year) so those people can just keep on waiting if they have the time.
