I've been looking for a 75" to upgrade my 55". This one meets the budget while offering mini LED technology. I also liked the adjustable legs, so you can put it on a smaller TV stand if you need to.

60hz panel. Vrr doesn't do 48 hz. Stuck with 3:2 pulldown. Only 312 dimming zones on 75 in. Lots of bloom

Qm6k - fixes motion with 144hz panel but same dimming zones. Lots of bloom

Qm7k - 2500 dimming zones on 75 in. Bloom mitigated. Minimal price difference with woled

Qm8k - minimal price difference with qd-oled

The 75" QM7K is currently $1299, more than double this QM5K price. It is certainly a much better TV, and you pay for those improvements.

Agreed. Nevertheless, those are the compromises.

Not quite sure why you need higher than 60hz for anything other than gaming and watching sports.

I went with this one. Mini led and better dimming zones.

Most movies are shot in 24 FPS. A native 60Hz panel will experience more judder, especially on those slow panning scenes, aka "3:2 pulldown" as someone else mentioned earlier in this thread. A native 120 or 144Hz panel fixes that issue.

That said, the price is definitely right. 75" miniLED for $550 is insane value. Worth it for elderly parents/relatives who probably won't appreciate things like HDR, VRR, or gaming.
