Past two metro deals I grabbed Razr and Moto G Stylus had 8GB of ram. This A37 has 6GB, there is also an option for a a17 or tcl which has 4GB.

Back when the unlock was 60days, i would always buy one of these as a spare phone, now that it's 365 days, its not worth it.

What if you travel within a year? You have to activate on Metro for your trip? I don't think T-Mobile sim will work. Also, will they unlock for international sim?

I have the A25 and like it a lot better than the Stylus 2025. For whatever reason, the Moto dropped wifi way too often, bloatware nonstop, and the Moto camera was a letdown. It's gone. My ofd Moto G6 has an excellent camera, build quality and speakers are very good. It still works great today.

You don't this this phone is worth $40 to sit in the drawer for 12 months to be used as a backup phone? The SG-A37-5G was released in April. It comes with 6 years of OS updates (2032) and has a AnTuTu score that 59% of the Pixel 10 and a Geekbench score that is 57%. With numbers like that and for $40 I would store this phone in my butthole for 12 months.

I do this every few years, so I have a metro stylus that I got a couple of years back and it is unlocked. That is the phone I used for this year's travels and will continue to use until the Samsung phone auto-unlocks next summer. I like metro phones but the limited system and security updates limit their usefulness for my purposes. The Samsung will get updates for six years. I considered getting the s25 Fe for $100 and keeping it for four years but it sold out and they never restocked.

Spot on, I have both and the Stylus seems way snappier. Heck even the 2024 Stylus feels faster than the A37. I'm assuming it must just be the bloated UI, because on paper the A37 should feel faster.
