About this Item:- Dry 4 Spools at Once: Dry and print at once for maximum efficiency. Effortless multi-color printing, seamless multi-filament drying. Moist filaments can cause stringing, clogs, layer shifts, and poor adhesion. The SpacePi drying box quickly removes moisture, restores filament to its optimal state, and ensures smooth extrusion and consistent print quality
- Dual Independent Chambers, Customized Drying: Each chamber features its own PTC heater, al-lowing independent temperature control. One machine, tailored to dry different filaments
- simultaneously. Supports 1kg/2kg spools, with 1.75mm or 2.85mm filament diameters. Fits spools up to 200mm in diameter and 150mm in width, handling most common filaments with ease
- High-Temp Drying up to 75°C: Dual 200W PTC heaters with insulation design provide stable, efficient heat. PLA, PETG, ABS... all dry effortlessly, keeping your filaments print-ready at all times
- Advanced PTC Technology for Even Drying: Ceramic PTC heating elements positioned near the fan deliver stable hot air. 360° hot-air circula-tion wraps around the filament, dispersing moisture evenly. Desiccant regen-eration during the drying process
- Smart Sensors, Precise Control: Same advanced sensor as the X4 for faster, more reliable monitoring. Catches even the tiniest shifts in temperature and humidity
- Flexible Drying Modes, Energy-Smart: Switch between single and dual-chamber modes as needed. Single-chamber mode saves up to 40% energy, giving you flexible, cost-effective drying options
- Responsive LCD Touchscreen Control: Featuring a new display design with anti-static treatment, it delivers excellent visibility even in winter. The built-in au-to-drying mode and real-time humidity monitoring keep your filament in optimal condition at all times

Creality's SpacePi X4L is a dual chamber filament dryer that stands out for independent temperature control and direct feed routing through top and back grommets. It handles PLA, PETG, TPU, PLA Silk, ABS, and ASA well, and the separate chambers make it easy to dry different materials at once. The main limits are a 70 degree maximum, which makes engineering filaments take longer than in 85 degree dryers, and occasional hiccups like a poor LCD, awkward controls, or an E3 error that clears after a power cycle. A practical budget dryer if you mainly work with common filaments.
Print farms drying PLA, PETG, or TPU in separate chambers, because the dual heaters let each side run at its own temperature.
Makers feeding filament straight to the printer, because the top and back grommets accept Bowden tubes for direct routing.
PLA and PLA-Silk printers, because it works well when run directly into the printer with a minor mod.
Owners moving from PLA to PETG, because it is cheap enough to keep using as a passive drying chamber even after failures.
Engineering-filament printers, because it only reaches 70C and needs much longer drying than an 85C dryer.
Filament setups that need the tube to stay locked in place, because the grommets can let the tube pull out accidentally.
Users who want a polished interface, because the LCD is poor and the controls are annoying.
People who need a dryer that starts reliably every time, because it can throw E3 errors or fail to heat until power-cycled.

Also, fwiw, the one I bought from this same listing came brand new.

It's tricky, but since I was comfortable with it it was straightforward. They actually sent me 2 replacement parts, a guide, checked in part way through, and the replacement part has worked since.
I kind of do like that I have a spare peice now to replace the heating element if it does go bad, and while I wouldn't use my experience as a review, it does feel like at least the team handling openboxes are pretty attentive and patient.
