This deck won't really teach much of anything you can't get with a cheaper controller and a MIDI-map on VirtualDJ. Even for kids, I think this wouldn't cut it.

The way it works is you would subscribe to Serato DJ pro or Pro DJ Suite 11.99/mo or 14.99/mo then it can be linked to tidal, apple music, spotify or soundcloud. IAs far as the mixers go I would suggest the Numark MixTrack Platinum FX or the Hercules 500mk2 both are around the same price point.
