I have returned two of these to Costco. One stopped pulling and the other would just die and you had to reinsert the battery 12 times to cut the yard.

Wow, that's really a bad experience.

This is the second season I've used this mower from Costco. It runs great and has as much power as any gas mower I've owned. I personally haven't had any issues, but I'm also not shilling for Greenworks. I do think it's a good buy so long as you don't get the unlucky "lemon" that some people seem to have gotten.

So does this have the Costco Warranty, including the batteries?

I bought a Hart 40v on clearance 2 years ago, and one battery has already died, and they wont warranty it.

And what makes this one better than say this model for $100 less? https://www.costco.com/p/-/greenw...?langId=-1

Both are 80v, dual battery, self propelled. $100 gets you 1" larger cut width, 2 blades, LED light, and a 4ah charger (vs 2 hr).
Edit: I also see the one for $499 has a 4ah and 2ah battery vs the 2 4ah of the more expensive one.

I've had good experience so far with mine. Actually can mow my 1/2 acre lot (1/3 acre actual mowing) with those two batteries in one charge if the grass isn't too long.

You've had issues and returned 2 of this exact same model?

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this monitor versus the 21 inch single blade? I have the 21-in single blade and the cut quality is...ok. I live in Florida so thick St Augustine grass and mowing at while it's dry is not always an option. Wondering how much of an improvement of the duel blade system would be?

I'm in for one. I bought the $200 deal/price mistake at Amazon a while back for the 21" mower with single battery port and 2, yes, 2 80v 4ah batteries. The mower with the single battery port is worthless. It takes two batteries to do my yard. I'm hoping the dual blades will prevent the mower from choking up on mulch. Anyway, I don't miss my big, heavy Toro Super Recycler.

Changed my mind and cancelled. Going for the 25" model.

I'm on my second season as well and love mine. I think it cuts better than the Honda I had.

Just get ego at this price. It will outlast this. I have the greenwood pressure washer which is great but lets be real, I only use it here and there and its a plugin. For grasscutting go with ego

I'm getting it because of the dual blades and the dual battery ports. I already have three 4ah batteries so I will sell these two and lower my cost.
