more than the printer. Glad I went with lasers years ago... bc these messy things are stuck in the stone age.

Bought it at 29.99 last year. Wireless takes years to connect. Black XL ink costs 30+ and lasts two month. Ink residue all over inside the printer after a full cleaning cycle. The only good thing is it can AI crop when scanning. Wont recommend at all.

I also got it for $30. Printed one thing and it looked so bad I decided to try to fix my 20 year old printer for 2 weeks then bought a brother laser. This isn't worth the $30 unless you refill your own ink and only need to print documents

This unit drops wifi all the time, can only be relied on using the USB cable.

I have a laser to handle most my printing, which isn't all that much. But I'd like to occaionally print in color, and also have a scanner for my very occasional scanning needs. So a cheap inkjet all-in-one has some appeal as a complement to a black & white laser.

But I'd want one that will take aftermarket cartridges, and hopefully doesn't require very frequent "maintenance" prints/head cleaning routines. Are there any on the market that don't force an ink subscription or exorbitantly-priced OEM cartridges? I don't need great quality/color accuracy, nor great scan quality or any kind of duplexing.

Definitely agree with you. I use a thermal printer for shipping labels, and keep my inkjet for other things so it lasts me a long time

You might have had a bad cartridge But , this price is cheaper than the ink , so it's a good disposable printer

You really should watch for a sale on a color laser printer. I bought my brother color laser from slick deals about 8 years ago for $199I think there were just some posts last week for $200-250

what are people printing in this day and age? LOL! I have a wireless HP laserjet 1102w from 2 decades ago, still on the original toner. printer works great, but i rarely use it. maybe once or twice a year to print one or two envelopes. or a return label.
