Checked today, zfold 8 discount dropped from 700 to 550, flip from 600 to 550, ultra the same - 700. And This promotion expires October 6, 2026 at 9:59 AM PDT

Interesting... Fi never reduced the discount right after the initial preorder period, the only thing that went away is the free storage upgrade from Samsung. It seems this year Samsung is selling these at a much higher price to Google and z fold 8 has proven the most popular of them all. My order from Aug 11th is still in "order placed" stage.

I hope next fall for z tri fold 2 they offer a discount close to $1000 if Samsung ends up selling those with carriers.

Did you get your Fold8? Did you order from G Fi or Samsung directly? I pre-ordered Pistachio color Fold 8 on July 31 and yet there is no delivery date. Initially it was Aug 21 and now just unexpected delay message.

No I ordered on Aug 12th. Its still showing order placed, expected to be delivered on Sept 16-17

Samsung just restocked Z fold 8s on their website so I am hoping carrier inventory should also get fulfilled very soon and our orders should be on their way.

How were you able to tell this? Thanks

I went through the checkout process several times (as if I am trying to place a new order) since Aug 21.and it would show me delivery date of Sept 4 or there about while my pending order doesn't have any delivery date yet. Then cust service rep told me that the delivery date is system generated and would most likely change as they are still waiting for restocking the products. Anyway, let's see what happens...

The delivery date currently showing is a BS estimate. So when the phone stock dwindles Fi at some point will allow any order to go through without showing it out of stock and then give this delivery date as an estimate not related to when it will be stocked.

I am hoping as Samsung restocked in their website (z fold 8 delivery dates are only few days from ordering), they are sending more units to Fi and other retailers. However, all the dates showing now are incorrect.

Just to update, I have been using Z fold 8 for couple of days. It's a cute little device, emphasis on the little part as its very different coming from S26 Ultra. I think the ideal form factor for me will be a little taller. Camera is decent, not comparable to S26U although I have only looked the photos on the small display.

As some was expressing doubts about selling the S26U. I sold my S26U on FB marketplace within 6 hours of listing for $880. I could have gotten more if Z fold 8 would have arrived sooner. So all in all Fi way is still better than Samsung EDU/EPP but I will keep an eye during black Friday to see what deals Samsung has.

Great to hear you got your device. No update on my end yet. How does it feel compared to Fold7? Would you have preferred Fold8U in hindsight? Enjoy it.
