This a a great deal. I've had 3 lines with infimobile for the past 2 years. between the first week of june and the first week of july, I had to re-up all three of our lines, and since there were no active deals like this, I had to pay $93 all-in for the 5gb plan, $93 all-in for the 10gb plan, and $168 all-in for the 15gb plan on different dates so our plans wouldn't run out. I'd snatch up 20gb for this price in an instant.
Infimobile's 12 month unlimited plan stands out for cheap annual pricing and usable service on both T Mobile and Verizon, with 20GB monthly data that feels like strong value for the money. The plan can be added to an existing line and set to start when the current plan expires, and USB tethering still works without a custom APN. Caveats include deprioritized data in crowded places, occasional slow speeds, and a 500 MMS limit that may affect group texts and multimedia messages. After the first year, the plan renews at $31 per month.
Heavy text-and-photo texters who use internet messaging apps, because RCS and app-based messages can bypass the MMS cap.
A 500 MMS cap is listed, but MMS usage may not actually be tracked for everyone. Some users report sending well over 500 MMS for months, while others treat the limit as a real restriction on photos, videos, stickers, and group messages.
The service can be slow and is clearly deprioritized in crowded places, with mobile data becoming unusable at arena-type events. Outside those congestion spikes, users report it working fine on both T-Mobile and Verizon networks.
RCS can work on Infimobile, and some users report it working reliably across multiple devices. Others could not get it working, so it may depend on device or setup.
The checkout flow offers either "Upgrade Now," which replaces the current plan immediately, or "Upgrade Later," which starts the 20GB plan when the existing plan expires. Current customers have also been able to buy it and have it roll over at renewal.
USB tethering reportedly works, and one user did not need to add a custom APN for it. Hotspot is a separate paid feature, with a $5 monthly hotspot fee mentioned for this plan.
Just go head place the order, there is option for existing customers
After you choose the 20GB plan for your existing Infimobile phone, the next screen gives you an option to "Upgrade Now", which would replace your current plan immediately, or "Upgrade Later", which would start this 20GB plan as soon as your existing plan expires.
We have multiple Infimobile phone lines with most under the T-Mobile network, but also a couple under the Verizon network. They have been working fine for the last couple of years and essentially $10/month for 20GB data is hard to beat. So I have gone ahead and renewed all our phones under this 20GB plan so that it will start as soon as our existing plans expire.
Some folks are saying the network is slow--we have not noticed that, I mean, it's mobile data. Most of us are near wifi the majority of the time and just use mobile data when we aren't.
I'll be honest--I have noticed in two instances that mobile data essentially was non-functional, but in both cases, it was at arena-type events with thousands of people all in the same location. So Infimobile mobile data is clearly deprioritized. But cripes, for $10/month vs. $100/month, I'm okay with this compromise for the once or twice per year I might be in a situation like this.
Assuming that Rcs works with InfiMobile... I can't get it to work and gave up
I'm using rcs on infi with no problem and have had them on a couple different devices for the last 2yrs 1 for better 3yrs now.
Infi is good here in Texas I have never been without phone and seem to get 5g sometimes 4 where my better halves ATT iPhone loses signal half the time now this is out in the sticks but not too remote.
