yowza, the prices for these six-year-old heavily used machines has skyrocketed. Just a few months ago, before the "NEO" was launched, you could nab an M1 "Air" w/ base specs for $300 or less.

For $380, 100% absolutely NOT worth it. You're better off putting that money into a "NEO" or a current-gen "Air". At least you'd be getting something with an actual warranty -- and hopefully the "NEO" will be supported for quite a few more years. There's not much hope that the M1 will be supported for too much longer.

a neo is $600 now with student ddiscount new so this is just another option. its competitive, though the support thing who knows how long itll be, but walmart was selling these new last year so it'll probably be a few years. an m1 is still fast enough for 90% of tasks
