PC if you get an electric lawn mower, watch out with that cord LMAO I've watched my neighbor across the street cut through two of them already; she's more careful now after doing that Teehee But they do seem very light and portable to use. I cut the front yard today, and it's been a long freakin' while since I've cut grass; and said to hubby while he was home for lunch; didn't this thing used to have self--propel - why does it seem like I'm pushing the damn thing Annoyed He comes out I start it up - electric start - and he pushed the one bar on it - and said there ya go "dear" I'm like OMFG I forgot how the lawn mower worked, it has been so long since I've done it Rofl2

Yeah, I was watching that thing like a hawk today. They cost around $180 plust tax, but they sold me the display for $50 plus tax. Groupwave They really are light in comparison to gas lawn mowers. I like it now but may change my mind later. It was just costing too much to cut my property and I needed an alternative. So I guess only time shall tell.

If you can deal with the electric cord you will be fine. I think it would drive me or hubby Crazy Our yard is too big for that type, and the self-propelled is much easier, and it has a bagger on the back. With the electric mowers, they basically mulch your grass as you mow, so you don't have to worry about bagging and/or raking after the fact. We would never get away with that. That was a good deal at $50 Woot

I wouldn't say we have a big yard, but we have 3 acres. So we had to get a lot of extension cords. laugh out loud What can I say? We are Crazylaugh

We have a riding lawn mower at my FIL's with a dual bagger on the back, that is not in use, due to his medical conditions laugh out loud

Rofl2 IDK I will let you know next time I cut the grass. Today It was just three 100 feet extension cords for the front yard. All of it's not grass I do have a wooded area, too. So maybe I wont fry it for a few months. Stick Out Tongue

Yeah, I've always been like that. More so since I've had a kid, though. It's amazing how much growing up you do when you have a baby! I think it's funny that I know people roughly my age that still go clubbing on a regular basis. laugh out loud
