I've had so many PM's asking me, is it in the water yet and I keep saying you have
no idea the amount of work that goes into getting it ready to put it in the water.
Especially if you have to do major maintenance as we did this year, tearing the motor
leg apart, and replacing all of the parts inside, as regular maintenance to this.
But it's all in the ownership, and keeping it maintained, so that we are able to safely
navigate the waterways and have no worries after it is launched. Can't wait, but am not
looking forward to $4.72 per gallon on the water ways
before we launch her, but still at $3.84, not cheap
So it looks like we are going to be throttling down when boating this year, to conserve on gas
But still take that trip, weather permitting down to the Chesapeake; last year we got hit with two storms in a row;
and couldn't get down there while on our vacation time
We do intend on having fun - first Dock Party is Memorial Day
