About a month ago in snail mail I got a snail mail survey for a company and normally would've tossed it. But it was brief, asked about my TV and radio listening habits, and promised me money for mailing it back. I think they sent $2 with it and promised me $5 for sending the survey back. Nothing to lose. Sure enough, they sent me a $5 bill.
Who are they?
Wondered how legit Arbitron Media is. Apparently very similar to Pinecone but not related. No sign up and haven't done anything new in ages. The only thing that changed was that shortly before their first letter I started emailing a local Talk Radio station. All of our info is out there if we take survey's anyway. Today I got $10 (no survey) just to thank me for my time.
What do you have to do?
They gave me a slew of details too numerous to post but it's like AC Neilson where they want to monitor your media intake with a gadget they send you and you can turn it off any time. Says up to $15 a month per person in household. Bonuses. Anyone in your home over 6 can participate.
