Bringing my Chromebook to hosp tomorrow so you can keep me entertained. operation will be 2 1/2 to 3 hours long. I'll be staying Tuesday and Wednesday in hosp with him. Then I'll have to go home and take care of kiddo. If he is in the hosp for the week like we were told I'll try to go to my Military weekend.(need the money and points for my drill time)
Hold me I'm scared......

He'll be ok.
My Father has had 2 open heart surgeries and came out just fine. The second one took longer due to scar tissue from the 1st procedure which is normal.
DH will be sore as they do have to crack his ribs open, but will feel a lot better once he gets all that blood to his heart that he's been missing out on due to the blockage he has.
2 1/2 hours, sounds like they are just going to use the Femeral(?) artery and use that for the bypass. Pretty straight forward...and it's cool that mother nature gives us a ready to use artery!
