Rat cages are typically bi-or-tri level. They look more like a chinchilla or ferret cage. Hammie and gerb cages are usually a single level, and much smaller.

The cage is in excellent condition, and he has the water bottle, bedding material for it; as well as other things that may or may not be specifically related to rats. It probably stands at least 2-1/2'foot high or higher maybe 3 foot high; can't quite remember; just remember it was quite tall. Things like hiding places and other things and I don't remember what else laugh out loud

Yep yep! They are nice for families just getting into small animals, because the kids are able to observe the hammies and gerbs bulid nests, sleep and play without disturbing them.
